For the last few days I’ve had the Ben Folds Five song “Brick” stuck in my head, despite the fact I could only remember the chorus. (If you don’t…Sheeeee’s a brick and I’m drowning slo-wly, off the coast and I’m headin’ nowhere…ring any bells?) I haven’t heard this song since about ‘97, when I was but a wee overweight bespectacled pimply sprite of 12 and watched the video for this song on VH1 (yes, I was too awkwardly nerdy for MTV) before VH1 went completely lame.
